In 2019, we celebrated 350 years of Leopold Franzens University Innsbruck.

350 years of eventful history, 350 years full of exciting research and teaching, 350 years full of bright minds who showed visions, developed ideas and advanced developments.

The University of Innsbruck saw its anniversary as a milestone on its path into the future. Setting new impulses, living openness, expanding the exchange with the environment, i.e. shaping the future together - these were the goals of the anniversary and beyond.

Most of the anniversary projects were therefore co-operation projects: Many members and partners of the university got involved with creative contributions and invited people to join in, think and discuss.
