From 5 to 11 March, the 23rd European Accountancy Week was held in Kortrijk (Belgium) by the VIVES Hogeschool. As part of the ETAP network event, 92 students and 25 professors from 14 European countries took part. Innsbruck was represented by 2 students and Sabine Graschitz.
The event consisted of an online and face-to-face event for the first time in 2023 and was funded as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (2021-1-BE02-KA131-HED-000005663-2). In addition to topics relating to international financial reporting (IFRS) and financial statement analysis, the programme also included cultural games and excursions to Ypres and Bruges.
During the closing ceremony, it was revealed that the students (Lisa-Maria Hofer and Lukas Hagn) performed excellently in their subject and received a total of 4 of the 23 awards presented. Congratulations to the successful students!
