Alma Balaj, BSc

Alma Balaj, a native of Bolzano, discovered her enthusiasm for business administration while still at school. This led her to study for a bachelor's degree, which she completed in 2023. Immediately after her bachelor's degree, inspired by an internship at a tax consultancy firm in Bolzano, she decided to enrol on a master's degree programme in Accounting, Auditing & Taxation to deepen her specialist knowledge even further. At the beginning of her Master's programme, she successfully applied for a position as a student assistant at the Institute of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. This experience gives her valuable insights into research topics as well as academic teaching.

In addition to her professional and student commitments, Alma is also active in various sports. She was part of a basketball team in South Tyrol for 10 years and is also involved in volleyball and handball. 
She also enjoys immersing herself in the world of crime fiction and uses her free time to hone her culinary skills, particularly in Italian cuisine.
