Lisa-Maria Hofer, BSc

Lisa-Maria Hofer was born and raised in Zell am See in Salzburg. Her love of numbers quickly became clear at secondary school and her interest in the fields of tax consultancy and auditing was sparked by the WKO's Entrepreneur's License. After graduating from high school, she completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Innsbruck and is currently at the end of her Master's degree in Accounting, Auditing & Taxation. She is also completing a Bachelor's degree in Business Law. Lisa is always happy to answer any questions you may have, especially regarding the two studies.

In addition to internships at tax consulting and auditing firms, she also considers the University of Innsbruck to be a great employer. This gives you a good insight into research as well as teaching. She has been a student assistant at the Institute of Statistics since March 2021 and has also been part of the team at the Institute of Accounting, Taxation and Auditing since November 2022. In the summer semester 2024, she also took up her position as a lecturer at the University of Innsbruck in the field of accounting and financial statement analysis.

As a balance to the number-heavy everyday life and leafing through the code, Lisa likes to burn off energy by dancing, cycling, hiking or skiing.
