Maria Eller
Maria Eller grew up in Roppen in the Tyrolean Oberland. During her school education at the HLWest in Innsbruck, she became increasingly interested in the subjects of politics, history, law, business administration and accounting. After graduating from high school, she decided to enrol for a bachelor's degree in business law at the University of Innsbruck, where she developed a particular interest in white-collar criminal law.
Maria became aware of the position of a student assistant on the job exchange of the University of Innsbruck, and she already knew the institute through some courses she attended as part of her studies.
Maria has already gained a lot of practical experience in the field of accounting and taxation at a well-known accounting and tax consultancy firm and has been part of our team at the Institute of Accounting, Taxation and Auditing since May 2024.
In addition to her work as a student assistant, she is responsible for library and customer service at the Faculty Library for Social and Economic Sciences once a week.
In her free time - when she doesn't have a code in front of her - she likes to read, or you can find her on the mat doing Thai boxing or MMA training.
