Mag. Hilde Wolfmeyer is in charge of the department’s video collection, which currently consists of more than 10.000 titles and is continually expanding on the basis of the research and teaching topics of American Studies, Film Studies and Cultural Studies.
The videos range from filmed literature over Hollywood movies to independent films and documentaries, with a special emphasis on the history of film in general and the culture of the U.S. in particular. She manages the database of the archive and provides research and film-viewing facilities at the department.
