New Approaches to the Sumerian Language and Religion
On 10.04.2025, Sebastian Fink from the Department of Ancient History and Ancient Near Eastern Studies at the University of Innsbruck organized a workshop entitled “New Approaches to the Sumerian Language and Religion”. In addition to numerous international specialists, Noah Kröll from the doctoral college Entangled Antiquities also gave a lecture on the topic: “Semantic Fields in Old Babylonian Emesal”. The workshop, which opened up new perspectives in the study of Sumerian, was characterized by active and in-depth discussion.
