Opencast Studio

Opencast Studio is a web-based application that allows you to produce videos directly from your browser. You can use the screen, screen & camera or just the camera as video sources. All sources can also be linked to an audio signal.

To access Opencast Studio, go to https://av-admin.uibk.ac.at and log in with your user ID. Click on the camera icon at the top right to access Opencast Studio.

 

 

Now you can select which sources you want to record, briefly check the sound and get started. You then have the option to trim the recording - although this only makes sense if you intend to upload the recording to the Opencast server. When downloading, you will receive the entire recording.

 

 

Please do not close the window during the upload - however, you can continue working in another tab. You can find out on the Opencast page how to continue working with the videos you have created (integrating them into the LMS, editing, deleting ...).
