20-031 Changing roles

Overview

In order to view a course as Participant or Coach, Owners can easily switch between the views by allocating themselves the roles as Participant or Coach in the Members management. Especially for Learning Path Courses, it is helpful to check the dependencies of course elements as a Participant.

For the roles Owner or Coach, no runtime data will be saved. If you for example complete an assessment while you are logged in as an Owner or Coach, no data will be saved in the Assessment Tool. Learning progress in a Learning Path Course will also not be recorded.

Important Steps

  1. First, you need to assign the roles Coach and Participant to yourself in Members management. You can find more information on this in HelpCard 20-030 Member roles.

  2. Selecting the User role function, you can now switch between Owner, Coach or Participant.
