33-015 Evaluation with rubric form
What you need to know
A Rubric form can be used for assessment in the course elements Survey, Assessment and Task. You can use the rubric form to set an automatic points assessment and points calculation.
What you need to do
- Click on Workspace in the main menu . The workspace opens.
- Click on the Create button at the top right . A drop-down menu opens.
- Click on Form here. Now enter a unique title for your survey, for example "Rubric form + course name".
- Click on Create. The learning resource survey has now been created and you are in the settings of your survey.
- If required, you can enter a Description, Cover image or Teaser film here. Save your changes. You can assign a licence in the Metadata tab (see HelpCard 00-040). In the Sharing tab, you have the option of making your survey available to other users (see HelpCard 10-070).
- To add content to your survey, select Administration at the top left and Edit content here . You are now in the survey editor.
- Click on Add a new layout and select the first layout format.
- Click on Add content.
- Click on Rubric. A rubric question has now been added to the form.
- Edit the Rubric question.
- Enter an evaluation criterion in the line labelling (for example, for the evaluation of a text: Content, Spelling or Grammar)
- Click on Add question to add another evaluation criterion.
- In the Column labels , give the values an appropriate name.
- In the column settings window on the right, you can modify the number of Steps (values) and make other additional settings.
- Click on the red X in the top right-hand corner to close the editor. The rubric form is now available in the workspace.
- Insert the rubric form into the desired course element.
