Publishing a new version of your material

After you have published a material, you can update your material with new versions of the content or metadata.

1. How to update metadata:

Select a published material in your workspace, click on the three-dot menu and then on Edit info. Edit the metadata as required and click on save.

In order for your changes to be published, you need to launch the publishing workflow again. To do this, click on the three-dot menu and then on Publish. Then proceed as described at in the HelpCard "Launch publishing workflow".

As long as your material has not yet been published, you can make changes to it without needing to launch the publishing workflow again.

2. Publish a new material variant:

Select a published material in your workspace, click on the three-dot menu, and on Edit info. Under Version, click on the Replace material button, upload the new version and click on save.

In order for your changes to be published, you need to launch the publishing workflow again. To do this, click on the three-dot menu and then on Publish. Then proceed as described at in the HelpCard "Launch publishing workflow".

As long as your material has not yet been published, you may make changes to it without needing to launch the publishing workflow again.
