Similarity-Check with Similarity (by Turnitin)
The similarity check is carried out using Similarity by Turnitin. The students' files are uploaded here for verification:
Active lecturers at the University of Innsbruck can log in to Turnitin using their university credentials, via Single Sign-On (SSO).
Similarity checks papers for text similarity with sources from the Internet and licensed journals. The software should be seen as an aid, as a tool to arrive at an assessment. The test report from similarity must always be checked and evaluated by the supervising lecturer.
Turnitin Module in OpenOlat
Students can use a module in the Learning-Management System OpenOlat to submit works themselves.
