New trainings are put online in February and July.

You can find the current course offers on the website of the department for Personnel Development (Personalentwicklung), under "Fortbildungen" (category "Digitale Medien"). Please enrol via the interne Fortbildungsprogramm.

We would like to direct your attention to the fact that we are happy to hold trainings on demand as well.

A list of the courses we offer in English:

"OpenOlat short and compact: Refresher training for beginners and advanced users": A classic among our trainings, this one offers you basic insights into how the university's LMS, OpenOlat, works and what its functions can do for you.

"Digital Learning Design - Prototype startup": You do not yet know how to design and structure your course(s)? Then this training is for you: Using instructional design principles, this course teaches you what to consider when deciding to embark on an elearning journey.

"Lights, camera, action: AuRa Studios Tour": Are you curious what audio/video creating studios the university has on offer? Feel free to view them and explore of what use they can be for you and your project ideas.

"AI Starter Pack" and "Levelling Up with AI": These courses are offered both in English and German and aim to address the different levels of knowledge about AI that teachers may already bring to the table.

"Manage video recordings with OpenCast": OpenCast is the university's video managing software that lets you host and edit videos. Due to its connection with OpenOlat, it is possible to then embed said videos directly into your courses. This training teaches you this and what other functions the program may have in store for you.
