After studying electrical engineering, Dr. techn. Sascha Hammes, M.Sc., worked as a specialist planner for electrotechnical building equipment and in the research and development department of Bartenbach GmbH. As part of an industry-related dissertation on user-centred lighting and the potential of post-occupancy evaluations, he completed his doctorate at the University of Innsbruck, where he has also been employed as a post-doctoral researcher since 2022. He is particularly involved in research projects in the areas of control technology, user-centred systems, sensor technology and data analyses.
