Caroline Böck successfully passed the first Staatsexamen (“State Examination”) in Law at the end of 2021. During her studies at the Goethe University Frankfurt and at the University of Milan, she completed internships at the District Court Frankfurt am Main and in the litigation department of commercial law firms in Frankfurt am Main and Munich. At the same time, she worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Japanese Law and its Cultural Foundations of Prof. Dr. Moritz Bälz, LLM (Harvard). At the beginning of 2021, she took up a position as a research assistant in the dispute resolution practice group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Since September 2022, she is working as a university assistant in the project„REGROUP“ (Rebuilding governance and resilience out of the pandemic) with Univ.-Prof. Dr. Matthias C. Kettemann, LLM (Harvard). She is researching international and European extradition law as part of her doctoral thesis.
