Rock­slide-gen­er­ated Tsunami Modelling: A new paper in Nat­u­ral Hazards and Earth Sys­tem Science

PhD student Andrea Franco led this paper just published in Natural Hazard and Earth System Sciences, reporting his results from pre-event bathymetry reconstruction and 3D numerical modelling of the famous 1958 Lituya Bay tsunami. This study results from joint collaboration between the Units of Hydraulic Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering and our Sedimentary Geology group at UIBK.
