Benjamin Kremmel at invited colloquium on "Technology in Task-based Assessment"

LTRGI at TBLT Conference in Groningen

Last week, Paula Winke – currently visiting scholar at our team at the University of Innsbruck – and Benjamin Kremmel dove into the opportunities and challenges of technology in task-based assessment at the TBLT Conference in Groningen.

Paula shared insights on a toolkit for designing task-based self-assessments that promote learner autonomy, align with course goals, and connect to global standards like the CEFR as part of an invited colloquium on leveraging technology for which Benjamin acted as chair and discussant.

The conference provided an excellent forum for exchanging ideas, discussing critical questions around innovation in language assessment, and reflecting on the future directions of task-based language teaching and assessment.
