Sustainable Development Goals
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the associated 169 individual goals, which are at the heart of the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, offer a new political framework worldwide to end poverty of all kinds, inequality to combat and counteract climate change.
Sustainable objectives are also anchored in the EU treaties and are included in cross-departmental key projects and initiatives such as the Aurora university network. However, they are also becoming increasingly important in the context of the development plan, the performance agreement and the target agreements.
Inspired by the UN SDGs, in the long term we, in the frame of the Aurora European University Alliance, will pioneer new standards for:
- education
- research
- campus - internal organization
- service to society
- (external) collaboration
