Introduction to 3D printing for pupils

In this workshop, young people learn about the exciting possibilities of 3D printing and gain a practical insight into this pioneering technology. Firstly, they will be introduced to the basic principles and functionality of 3D printing. They will then immerse themselves in the design process by creating their own 3D model step by step. This offers them a unique opportunity to combine creativity and technical understanding. At the end of the workshop, the self-designed models are printed, allowing the participants to hold a tangible result of their newly acquired skills in their hands.

Which news can I trust?

In this workshop, pupils deepen their understanding of news media literacy. They explore the fundamental importance of journalism in society and learn how essential an informed public is for a functioning democracy. A central aspect of the workshop is learning techniques for assessing the trustworthiness of news sources. Participants will look at criteria such as source transparency, fact-checking and journalistic objectivity. Another important component is the understanding and recognition of framing in the media - how news is presented and contextualised and how this can influence the perception of information. The aim of the workshop is to give pupils the skills to critically scrutinise news, distinguish facts from opinions and position themselves as informed and reflective media users.

In this workshop, pupils immerse themselves in the impressive world of 360° videography. They will learn about the many possibilities of a 360° camera and how this innovative technology can be used to create unique and immersive video experiences. The practical part of the workshop allows participants to capture and present their own school in the form of a 360° video. This gives them the opportunity to develop their creative skills while applying the technical aspects of 360° videography in a practical way. The aim is to give students a basic understanding of this exciting technology and encourage them to explore and present their surroundings from new, innovative perspectives.
