- 10 ECTS-CP Specialisation in Media and Communication Studies
Expected learning outcomes
Graduates of the elective package "Media and Communication" are familiar with basic theories and methods of media and communication research. They are able to analyse and reflect on media and communication processes in an individual, social and international context. They are able to apply their knowledge to work on relevant problems in their academic field.
Graduates of the elective package "Media and Communication" are able to
- understand and apply theories and models of media and communication research,
- model, analyse and reflect on media and communication processes,
- establish media references in the context of their own field of study and
- categorise technologically and ideologically abbreviated views of media and communication dynamics.
Selection criteria
If more than 30 students register for the individual courses, the following admission criteria apply:
1. students who would incur an extension of the study period due to the deferral
are to be admitted preferentially.
2. if criterion Z 1 is not sufficient to regulate admission to a course, the available places will be allocated by lottery.
