To emphasize the importance of teaching, the Lehreplus! Prize is awarded at the University of Innsbruck.
In addition, the Atlas of Good Teaching - a generic "online reference work" - is constantly updating and publishing examples of good practice.
Lehreplus! is an initiative of the Office of the Vice-Rector for Teaching and Students, which offers the opportunity to emphasise outstanding achievements in the field of teaching.
The Fakultätslehrepreise - faculty teaching awards -at the University of Innsbruck can be an important addition to the university-wide Lehreplus! award. They offer the opportunity to recognise excellent teaching within the individual faculties and to make teaching competence visible.
