16/12 - We had the pleasure to host three classes of the TFO Bruneck. After a tour at the CCB, we moved to the Josef-Moeller-Haus to give some information on the study programs of Chemistry (assoc. Prof. Dr. Gunter Heymann) and Pharmacy (Dr. Stefan Schwaiger). The program was competed by a visit of the pharmacognostic collection “DITTRICHIANA” guided by ao. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Ulrich Griesser. We hope you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcome some of you as students in Innsbruck!

16/10 - Successful leaf collection season! This fall, our Phyllobilin group once again busily collected leaves to replenish our stock of extraction material. A big thank you to everyone who took part!

27/09 - the 9th CMBI Meeting was held in Igls. Our departement was represented with talks and poster presentations.

13-16/07 - This year’s International Congress on Natural Products Research (ICNPR) took place in Kraków. The Department of Pharmacognosy was represented by several short lectures and poster presentations. Congrats to Minh Bui Hoang who has been awarded with the best poster award!

04-05/07 - The summer break started with the annual HMPPA Symposium “Next Generation in Pharmacognosy” in Graz, where our department was involved with 7 contributions.

24/05 - Today "The Long Night of Research" (Lange Nacht der Forschung) took place and the department of Pharmacognosy was represented by 3 workshop stations with the theme "Rainbow Remedies". Thanks to all the helping hands for making this a successful event.

04/12 - Today the department of Pharmacognosy was visited by a delegation of the Jinan University, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. Not only were the visitors given an insight into the research of the department, they also enjoyed the snowy and picturesque landscape.
