Faculty Council
The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Language, Literature and Culture represents the interests of all members of faculty. Its function is to advise the Dean of Faculty and serve as a forum for discussion of all issues concerning the faculty. Members of the Faculty Council are elected for three years. Eight members represent the senior professorial staff, four the mid-level faculty and students, and one the general university staff.
The chairperson of the current Faculty Council is Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dorothee BIRKE, and the vice chairperson is Assoz.-Prof. Dr. Heike ORTNER.

Curriculum Commission
The Curriculum Commission is a commission of the Senate; as such, its term of office corresponds to that of the Senate. The Curriculum Commission is responsible for developing curricula and making changes to existing curricula. The Commission carries out tasks assigned to it by the Senate and submits its results to the Senate for final approval. The Curriculum Commission of the Faculty of Language, Literature and Culture has twelve members; each of the University’s three staff groups appoints four members. The members of the Curriculum Commission are chosen by the senior professorial staff and mid-level faculty of the Senate, and student members are chosen by the Austrian National Union of Students (Österreichische Hochschülerschaft, ÖH). The Dean of Studies and the Associate Deans of Studies, insofar as they are not already members of the Curriculum Commission, are co-opted members with the right to submit motions. Meetings are held as needed in accordance with the tasks assigned by the Senate. Depending on the tasks assigned, the Curriculum Commission’s activities may be intensive.
The chairperson of the current Curriculum Commission is Ao. Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Beatrix SCHÖNHERR, and the vice chairperson is Univ.-Prof. Dr. Martin SEXL.

Zielvereinbarungen
Im Rahmen der Zielvereinbarungen 2022-2025 mit dem Rektorat wurde u.a. festgelegt, dass seitens unserer Fakultät Drittmittelanträge in einem bestimmten Umfang eingereicht werden sollen. Es handelt sich um folgende Formate:
FWF-Anträge sowie Anträge für kompetitiv vergebene Drittmittel bei der Europäischen Union (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, EFRE/Interreg), wobei die beantragte Fördersumme mind. 150.000 EUR betragen muss (Anteil Universität Innsbruck pro Antrag).
Alle Kolleginnen und Kollegen werden dazu eingeladen, sich hier mit eigenen Anträgen einzubringen. Als Unterstützungsmaßnahme stehen finanzielle Mittel zur Verfügung, die im Zuge der Antragstellung für Studentische Mitarbeiter*innen oder für Werkverträge verwendet werden können. Diese Maßnahmen sind auf jeweils eine Förderung pro Person und pro Jahr beschränkt.
