Analysis of micro- and nanoplastics in the Alpine region:

Knowledge transfer for the successful implementation of scientific methods in an industrial environment

The Interreg project MikAlp brings the latest scientific advances in the analysis of micro- and nanoplastics from the university to local industry in the Alpine region. The aim is to establish and commercialise these methods in order to improve the analysis of plastic particles in environmental and food samples. Partners with different areas of expertise are working together to develop practical solutions and strengthen competitiveness in the border region. The methods used should also enable comprehensive monitoring of micro- and nanoplastics, which is being discussed at national and European level.
