Interdisciplinary and Additional Competences

In order to promote interdisciplinarity between the various degree programmes, the module ‘Interdisciplinary Competencies’ (in Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes) or ‘Generic Competencies’ (in doctoral degree programmes) is being included in more and more degree programmes.

A wide variety of courses can be offered within this module. If you also have a proposal for a course concept, please complete the attached form and submit it to the Faculty Service Centre.

Submission of applications

Applications by internal or external lecturers and students can be submitted twice per academic year.

Deadlines for the application
Winter semester 2024/25 until 08 March 2024
Summer semester 2025 until 27.September 2024

Selection

The decision as to whether a course will be funded and included in the pool of interdisciplinary and generic competences is made promptly by a committee consisting of members of the Senate, the ÖH and the Dean of Studies.
