Procedure of the habilitation process
Application for authorisation to teach in accordance with
§ 103 UG 2002
(according to Guidelines of the Senate )
It is recommended to discuss the habilitation project and the intended venia in advance with the dean.

Habilitation application in the office of the Vice-Rector for Research
by electronic means
(additionally the application with original signature and 1 printed copy of the written thesis)

Senate: Appointment of the committee and appointment of the reviewers
⇓
Constituent meeting of the commission (serviced by
Responsible FSS)
Sending the written papers to the reviewers
⇓
Receipt and circulation of the expert reports
⇓
Resolution of the habilitation committee
Transmission to the Office of the Vice-Rector for Research
⇓
Issue of the decision by the Central Legal Service
⇓
Handover of the decision by the Vice-Rector for Research
After completion of the procedure (optional)
Public lecture from the field of the habilitation subject
electronic publication of the habilitation thesis
Invitation to the official habilitation ceremony
