Regulations regarding additional income for Doctoral Scholarships from the University of Innsbruck's Support Program for Junior Scientists and Excellence Scholarships for Doctoral Colleges (DC)

During the scholarship period, a simultaneous employment at the University of Innsbruck is not possible.
Other income no longer has to be disclosed. The Scholarship will no longer be reduced in the case of other income.
Employment - outside the University of Innsbruck - is now permitted up to 20 hours per week. WITHOUT reduction of the allowance!
Employment - outside the University of Innsbruck - of more than 20 hours per week is not permitted and will lead to the immediate termination of the allowance.
- During the scholarship period, a simultaneous employment at the University of Innsbruck is not possible.
- Other sources of income must be reported. These sources of income reduce the monthly grant of the University of Innsbruck. Generally, 50% of the additional income is subtracted from the scholarship amount.
- Employment above the marginal earnings limit is not permitted and will result in immediate ending of the scholarship.
- Scholarships, study grants and other financial support (e.g. unemployment benefits, pension payments, etc.) need to be reported. They reduce the monthly grant of the University of Innsbruck.
- Applicants were already asked to provide the relevant information when applying (in order to record the status at the time of application - further clarification took place at the time of approval).
