Consumer Lab
The Consumer LAB is a research laboratory in the field of Marketing and Consumer Behavior at the Department for Strategic Management, Marketing, and Tourism at the University of Innsbruck. In particular, it focuses on research topics like Service Management, Consumer Behavior, and Emotions. Laboratory experiments are nowadays also well established in business studies and provide many new insights. The results advance our understanding of Consumer Behavior and serve as inspiration for new research approaches.
If you register in our database, you will receive regular E-Mail invitations to participate in our experiments. Participation is usually anonymous, flexible in time, voluntary, and can be done online or face-to-face. On average, you will receive €15.00 per hour for your participation; in some cases, participants can keep the products that are part of the experiment. For students of the University of Innsbruck there is also the possibility to earn extra credits in selected courses of the Department of Strategic Management, Marketing, and Tourism (Team Service Management, Prof. Dr. Nicola Stokburger-Sauer).
We are looking forward to your registration!
The scientific director of the laboratory is Univ. Prof. Dr. Nicola Stokburger-Sauer, who manages the Innsbruck Consumer Lab. If you have any questions, please contact consumerlab-smt@uibk.ac.at.
