How to find us
The Department for Theoretical Physics is situated at the western end of Innsbruck, near the airport and the motorway, at the Campus Technik of the University of Innsbruck. Our offices are located on the 1st and 3rd floor of the ICT building.

Arrival by car via the A12 motorway
Exit Innsbruck-Kranebitten, at the first roundabout turn left towards Innsbruck. After about 1 km, take the second exit at the next roundabout. The Campus Technik is located after the sharp right turn on the right side of the road.
Parking:
Along the "Technikerstraße" and in the side streets (Attention: short-term parking zone) or at the university's parking for a fee.

From Innsbruck main railway station you can reach us easily by public transport (about 20 minutes). Please get off at the stop "Technik" and walk to our institute (about 5 min, see map below).

From "Terminal Marktplatz" in the city center, you can easily reach our institute by taking tram line 2 (about 15 min), get off at "Technik" and walk to our institute (about 5 min, see map below).

Arrival by plane
From Innsbruck airport you can either travel by taxi (takes about 7 minutes) or there is now also an environemtally friendly option by choosing an Uber Green, which uses e-cars. If opting for public transport, you can get off at the bus stop "Innsbruck Technik" (takes about 15 min). From there it's only a few minutes walk (see map below) to our institute.
