The ULB Tirol sees itself as a "hybrid library" that acquires, manages, archives, catalogues and makes available both printed and electronic media.

Our total holdings comprise over 3.7 million documents (print and online), including around 70,000 items from Historical Collections. This figure also includes more than 108,000 E-Books and almost 30,000 licenced scientific E-Journals and E-Newspapers.

Our repository contains around 4,167 Digitised Works and 12.942 Open Access Publications.

As the provincial library, we look after the Tyrolean special collection, which is made up of obligatory copies and acquisitions. This results in a collection of around 180,000 Tyrolese.
