The University Sports Institute Innsbruck

The University Sports Institute Innsbruck (USI) with an area of 125,000 square metres has been a constant in Innsbruck's sports landscape for decades. Sports enthusiasts are offered a colourful programme of indoor and outdoor courses in 13 halls and on 36,763m² of outdoor space. In the summer semester of 2023, more than 300 trained course instructors from a wide range of disciplines will take care of the sporty well-being of interested students, staff and university graduates on land, in the water, on climbing ropes, in the snow, to music and much more.

Between "A" as in acrobatics and "W" as in white water tubing, there is, among other things, an extensive offer in the cycling area; in addition to trail and downhill camps, a racing bike programme will be realised for the first time this semester. In the “Kursneuheiten” (new courses) section of the USI website (https://usi.uibk.ac.at/usi/page) you can find a list with new courses offered for the 2023 summer semester.

However, the versatility of the USI Innsbruck is also reflected in a colourful workshop, festival and weekend programme. Triathlon camps, the second edition of the Dance'n'Spring dance festival, canyoning, alpine climbing or giant slalom alpine skiing camps, to name just a few, are offered. With the Tyrolean Academic Championship (TAM) in chess and the "Long Night of Sports", there will also be two further highlights in the competition area of the USI Innsbruck in the summer months of 2023.

The perfect offer for your work-leisure balance is provided!

Yours, the USI Innsbruck
