Getting there

Innsbruck, the renowned alpine city and capital of Tyrol, is easily accessible from most international destinations:

by train
via Innsbruck central station with international train connections to all main European cities (see www.oebb.at)

by plane
via Innsbruck Airport, Munich Airport (with comfortable and fast transfer by airport taxi (www.tirol-taxi.at), train (www.oebb.at) or bus, as well as Vienna Airport (several direct trains from/to Vienna Airport per day)

by bus
with Flixbus (www.flixbus.de) or Postbus (www.fernbusse.de);

by car
via motorway connections (toll sticker - 'vignette' - required to drive on motorways in Austria!) from east and west via the A12. Note: the Arlberg tunnel is a toll tunnel. When travelling from the south, take the A14 motorway - toll charge applies from Innsbruck onwards. Taking the B182 national road via Brenner is also an option. There are good national roads to and from Innsbruck. Travel via East Tyrol by way of the Felbertaurn tunnel or Pustertal (Puster valley).
