Registration and Abstract Submission
To register for Climate Change, The Karst Record IX (KR9) and submit an abstract, please visit our participant management system.
How it works:
- Create a new account by clicking on "Register new" and fill in your personal information. Note that creating a user account does not automatically register you as a participant of KR9. At the end of the form, you may choose to continue with the registration, submit a contribution, or only create an account and register/submit later. Please note that this is a new system therefore those that registered previously will need to do so again.
- To submit an abstract, choose "Your Submissions" from the main menu. Select one of the four submission options:
- Oral
- Poster
- Student Oral
- Student Poster
You can save your submission and edit it anytime until the submission deadline. - To register for the conference, fieldtrips, workshops, select "Register as a Participant". Students are eligible to a discounted registration fee if they provide proof of their student status - a picture of the student ID is sufficient.
Please choose which additional events you wish to attend. For the field trips and the conference dinner, you have the option to also book a seat for an accompanying person.
You may also indicate any special remarks at this point, including dietary requests. Note that we will of course provide vegetarian and vegan options on all buffets and the conference dinner.
Finally, payment is possible either via bank transfer or credit card (Visa/MasterCard). You will receive a receipt via e-mail.
Details of important dates and fees are available here. Activities such as workshops and fieldtrips have a participant limit and operate on a first-come first-served basis, thus we recommend registering early if you wish to ensure a place. Please note that registration will only be considered complete if payment has been received. Registration for fieldtrips will close on 31st May, 2022, after which the organisers will reserve the right to cancel the fieldtrip if there are too few registered participants.
Please note that it will be high-season in Innsbruck during the conference, hence we also recommend booking accommodation early.
