Quantification of urban emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by flux measurements and its application

 

 The project aims to measure VOC fluxes in a Chinese city and compare results to a typical European city. The measured VOC fluxes will be used to understand the variability of VOC fluxes, validate VOC emission inventory and study the formation of ozone and particles in the atmosphere. Both Parties will devote time to a planned field campaign in China and joint data analysis of flux measurements.  Scientific findings will be published in the peer-reviewed literature.
