Sie leben schon lange in Tirol, haben an der Uni Innsbruck studiert und Interesse am Austausch mit neuzugezogenen internationalen Forscher:innen und Fachkräften aus der ganzen Welt? Dann sind Sie hier richtig!
Mit dem Format „meet the locals“, das der Welcome & Dual Career Service gemeinsam mit dem Alumni-Netzwerk an der Transferstelle Wissenschaft- Wirtschaft – Gesellschaft konzipiert hat, bieten wir Internationalen und neu nach Tirol Zugezogenen eine gute Gelegenheit, um sich in angenehmer Atmosphäre mit anderen zu vernetzen.
Die erste Veranstaltung fand am 30. September 2022 im Botanischen Garten statt. Nach einer spannenden Führung von Maria Holoubek durch die aktuelle Teeausstellung und die Gewächshäuser konnten sich bei der anschließenden Tee- und Strudelverkostung Alumni der Universität als locals mit internationalen Fachkräften aus 11 Ländern und aus unterschiedlichen Branchen bis in den späten Nachmittag hinein austauschen und vernetzen. Aufgrund des großen Erfolgs sind weitere Treffen ab 2024 geplant.

With the "meet the locals" format, which the Welcome & Dual Career Service has designed together with the Alumni Network at the Transfer Office Science - Economy - Society, we offer internationals and newcomers to Tyrol a good opportunity to network with others in a pleasant atmosphere.
The first event took place on September 30, 2022 in the Botanical Garden. After an exciting guided tour of the current tea exhibition and the greenhouses by Maria Holoubek, alumni of the university were able to network and exchange ideas with international professionals from 11 countries and various industries until late in the afternoon at the subsequent tea and strudel tasting. Due to the great success, further meetings are planned from 2024.
