Lecture Series “The Power of Narrative: Forms, Contexts, Politics” (Summer Term 2024)
In the literature section of the English Department, we are featuring a lecture series on Narrative Studies this semester, entitled “The Power of Narrative: Forms, Contexts, Politics”. Many members from the department are contributing, as are special guests from outside.
Talks will be on Tuesdays, 17:15–18:45, HS 5¾. You’ll find an overview of the dates and talks in the poster.
It would be great to see you there, and to have you join in our discussions on all things narrative!
Radio podcast The English Frequency
Our latest podcast features two wonderful interviews with special guests from the University of Innsbruck! Join us to hear what our new Dean of Studies, Dr Elisabeth De Filip-Jaud, has to say about her plans for the future of the Faculty for Philology and Cultural Studies at the university, and learn about the work and music of one our soon-to-be-gone colleagues, Michael Docherty, AKA Goalkeepers Are Different. We even have a personal review of our appearance at the Career Days event in June.
Music is provided by:
Goalkeepers Are Different – I’m a Pilgrim
Måneskin – Mamma Mia
Arab Strap – Strawberry Moon
Goalkeepers Are Different – Scared of the Dark
