Selina is currently studying architecture at Universität Innsbruck. Her aim is to collect a deeper understanding in how socio-political issues in the field of spatial practice intersect with theory, communication, preservation and documentation of the built environment.
In 2022, she began working for the „Institut für Architekturtheorie und Baugeschichte“ as a scientific assistant, the architecture office „DenkMalNachhaltig," and the Baunetz Network subsequent to the german architecture magazine Detail, where she had spent the previous seven years. DenkMalNachhaltig promotes the "Bauwende" through "Not-Building," revitalizations, and sustainable methods of thinking architecture, as well as design and construction in historical context (Bauen im Bestand).
The interest in ephemeral arts led her to collaborate with other artists on several stage and exhibition designs, as well as event planning.
