ABOUT IABR

The INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BREATH RESEARCH (IABR) was founded in Vienna 2005 with the mission of supporting the international breath research. With the IABR BREATH SUMMIT in Innsbruck 2025 we celebrate its 20th anniversary.  The Institute for Breath Research at the University of Innsbruck is honoured to host the symposium in this special year, as the former head of the institute, was a founding member and long-time chairman of IABR till 2015.


This symposium is attended by scientists  from different academical fields, e.g medicine, chemistry, biology, and representatives of different industrial companies  providing a platform for exchange and discussion associated with breath research and new instrumental developments. The IABR BREATH SUMMIT gives an opportunity to hear the latest scientific breakthroughs and new arising topics, network with existing collaborators and to start new international cooperations.
