Abstract. This work investigates the multisensory perception within interiors and the correspondence it has with human well-being and indoor climate based on the following questions.
Q1: How do human senses, their integration, congruency, dominance over each other, and their correspondence with other qualities and cues correlate with material and spatial perception?
Q2: How, by acknowledging sensory modalities, can those contribute to human well-being?
Q3: How can we benefit from sensory modalities´potential correlation with shaping architectural spaces with a specific focus on thermoception of wood?
