By train

The main train station in Innsbruck is just a short walk from the city centre. The train station has lockers for your luggage, as well as supermarkets, cafes, bistros, fast-food restaurants, bakeries, newsagents and ATMs.

By plane
Innsbruck Airport is located on the western edge of the city and offers comfort and short transfers – it’s only a 15min bus ride into the city centre. Flights to destinations such as Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Vienna (including connections on Star Alliance flights to multiple further European destinations) are operated regularly and up to several times a day. Munich International Airport can also serve as a convenient hub for you journey, serving almost all important European destinations. From Munich Airport it’s only a 2:30hrs hop to Innsbruck, which can be done by train, coach or individual transfer.

By coach
FlixBus provides comfortable long-distance buses to Innsbruck from all over Europe. The buses operate several times a day and follow direct routes. FlixBus is ideal for getting from Munich Airport to Innsbruck, but you can also use FlixBus to explore South Tyrol and Italy, including the cities of Merano, Milan, Venice and Rome. In Innsbruck, the buses stop on "Südbahnstraße" road.
