BIPs October

CALL: Edu­ca­ti­o­nal Hub Events 2024 (BIPs) for Stu­dents and Staff

Join us for a transformative one-week retreat designed exclusively for emerging scholars, including late Master's and PhD students, and established scholars in October 2024 in Matrei/Innsbruck. 

Both BIPs are organized as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). BIPs utilize innovative pedagogical methods through short, intensive programs, combining face-to-face sessions with online learning and collaboration. Completion of both the physical and virtual components is mandatory.

Preparation for Students
Monday, September 16th, 2024 from 14:00 -15:30 pm CEST (tbc)

Monday, September 30th, 2024 from 14:00 - 15:30 pm CEST (tbc)

Preparation for Staff
Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 from 14:00 - 15:30 pm CEST (tbc)

Debriefing for Students & Staff November 2024 (tbd)

The physical parts will take place in Bildungshaus St.Michael in Matrei and at Universität Innsbruck from 20 - 25 October, 2024.

Student BIP "Rising Voices: Emerging Scholar's Forum"
This unique opportunity brings together bright minds from diverse disciplines, two Aurora Educational Hubs, and a range of Aurora universities to further develop problem-solving and teamwork competences, while also refining oral communication skills.

• Communicate complex ideas effectively
• Join interactive sessions to master constructive feedback
• Learn how to navigate diverse knowledge domains.

Whether preparing for a short-term research secondment or future collaborative research,this retreat offers the ideal setting to move ahead in your academic journey.

Staff BIP: "Expanding Scholarly Horizons"
Join us for a one-week retreat designed for established scholars:
• Foster interdisciplinary connections across Aurora Educational Hubs and Universities.
• Collaborate on shared projects and hone communication skills for a broad audience.
•Present and discuss your research.

Focus on Exchange and Peer Learning:
• Engage in peer learning with staff, including experts in science communication.
• Share your knowledge and competences.
• Receive valuable feedback from students from parallel BIP “Rising Voices: EmergingScholars Forum”.

We welcome applications from teams of researchers who have applied for a 2024 Aurora Research Collaboration.
