Analysis of two different places of education and training in Tyrol that no longer exist in this form today. The investigation concentrated on the public educational institutions for school-age children located in the rural periphery. The seminar dealt with the leaving and learning conditions of children in the Alpine region using the example of small schools on the mountain.

| Results | During class discussions with students from the Universities of Innsbruck and Bolzano/Bozen, the participants had the opportunity to reflect on the similarities and differences of their own educational history (and the one of their parents and great parents). |
