Wicho Thomas

Thomas studied sports management and sports science in Innsbruck. After he finished his masters degree in sports science he worked as a medical training therapist in Linz and then as a physical education teacher in Minnesota, USA. He began his doctoral studies at the University of Innsbruck in 2025. His research interest focuses on sport development planning especially sport club development. As part of his dissertation he is focused on the different challenges for sport clubs and how to support their essential work.
