8th anniversary of the Doctoral Programme Atoms, Light, and Molecules (DK ALM) at the University of Innsbruck

The DK ALM started in 2016 and is a joint programme incorporating the four physics institutes with the aim of providing excellent education and training for PhD student researchers at the forefront of science.

The event focusses on an audience consisting of the scientific community and interested public.

The keynote speaker Suzanna Randall, scientist at the European Southern Observatory (ESO), presenter on the ZDF YouTube channel Terra X Lesch & Co & freelance speaker and author, will share her experiences and challenges she encounters in science communication and how knowledge transfer in physics can still be successful.
