After finishing my BSc and MSc in Innsbruck, I was really happy and excited to continue with my PhD in the same research group! Biology has always been a big part of my life since I was a kid, and I'm thrilled that I could turn my hobby into my job. Besides studying biology, I work as a dive instructor in the summer and love skiing in the winter. One important experience in my career, as a biologist, was when I got the chance to study tropical horticulture and marine biology for one semester abroad in Indonesia. I became even more motivated to contribute to the field through research and exploration, knowing that there is so much to uncover and understand about the wonders of the natural world.
