Welcome to Florian Goschin!

Florian received his Master in Physics at the LMU Munich, where he developed a technique to perform temperature measurements on the nanoscale using plasmonic particles. Now he has joined the nanospheres experiment as a PhD student. His focus is on studying the coupling of the ion - nanoparticle hybrid system to an optical cavity to achieve cooling towards the quantum ground state.
