The faculty exchange between the University of Innsbruck and the University of New Orleans works in two ways: long-term visits (usually for a semester) and short-term visits (for a few days). Quite a few faculty members have taken the opportunity to spend a semester as visiting professors in Innsbruck or New Orleans. Professors who cannot commit to a semester-long exchange are encouraged to share their ideas through lectures and shorter visits.
