SPAF: Combined academic and leadership competence from all 16 faculties for a strong Senate

We thank all of our colleagues who voted for us in the election and strengthened the Senate. Thank you for the trust you have placed in our list! We will work with complete commitment in the coming years.

The Senate is the only one of the three university governing bodies that is directly democratically elected. It thus has a unique and important mission regarding university statutes, the development and organization plans, the university council, the election of the rector, staff appointment procedures, and study curricula.

On June 29, 2022, the Senate elections for the period 2022–2025 will take place. These need your participation to ensure a democratic and fair university!

Therefore:

Go and cast your vote!
Location: University Main Building, 1st floor, UNO Hall, Innrain 52, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria.
Time: June 29, 2022, 09:00-17:00
Note that physical attendance is crucial, since the university does not yet permit postal ballots.

Vote for the Senate list of Professors of All Faculties (SPAF)!
We are the candidates working closely in interdisciplinary teams to respond to a broad spectrum of concerns.
Take a look at our program.

SPAF supports a strong Senate that handles all important university policy issues and works constructively on sustainable answers. [Program]

Professors on the SPAF list have extensive experience both in cutting-edge research and leadership in a wide variety of organizations. We are involved in diverse academic and non-academic networks. [Program]

SPAF strives for a university that is unified in its diversity, with frameworks that grant faculties and departments the autonomy that they need to effectively pursue their goals. This applies to the design of curricula, the staff and faculty appointment proceedings, and the evaluation of institutions and university members, and more. [Program]

SPAF has members from all 16 faculties. We have divided our list into interdisciplinary teams to do justice to the diverse disciplinary cultures at the LFUI, to represent gender equally, and to equally include both academically young as well as older colleagues. [Program]
