EmpEc-Working Area "Spatio-Temporal Modelling"
The Working Area "Spatio-Temporal Modelling" deals with the elaboration and evaluation of statistical and econometric methods, primarily using complex regression models with a temporal, spatial and cluster specific heterogeneity. In addition, methods of modelling and evaluating of non-linear regression relations play an important role. In the two applied fields (statistics and econometrics) different methodical approaches to research issues arise at least partly, and also synergetic effects are expected. A further important aspect is the positive impuls for the methodical work resulting from close cooperation with "users".
