This exhibition was created to remind the world about the ongoing war and the price Ukrainians pay daily in their fight for freedom. "Unissued Diplomas" honours the memory of Ukrainian students who will never graduate because their lives were taken by the russian invasion.
The "Unissued Diplomas" exhibition uncovers the stories of 36 Ukrainian students killed in the war. It will be held in 45+ universities worldwide on February 24, which marks the anniversary of the day all Ukraine woke up from explosions.
The exhibition is freely accessible until the June 14, 2023, at the SOWI building, University of Innsbruck, 1st floor (West), Universitätstraße 15, 6020 Innsbruck.

Vernissage: "The Higher Education under The War"
The exhibition will open with a panel discussion on 23 June: In the discussion at the opening of the exhibition, Eva Binder, Svitlana Pidoprygora (both Department of Slavic Studies, University of Innsbruck), Oleksandra Terentyeva and Martin Senn (both Department of Political Science, University of Innsbruck) will discuss the consequences of the war on students and universities in Ukraine.
